A huge humanitarian crisis is going on in western Asia between Israel and Palestine. When the International community is urging for a cease-fire, what really is the hurdle to peace? Is it Religion? Or is it merely ego? Palestine has been accusing Israel of an intruder and ethnic cleansing in the region. While Israel is saying about self-existence!
India is also discussing it, unlike other times. Rather than taking a side, one should consider humanity and find a solution once and for all. Leaders in Kerala are forced to delete their posts where they claimed Hamas as a “terrorist group”. Why is that so? Even the stubborn communist Chief Minister couldn’t withstand the pressure and withdrew his Facebook post. Is it getting a bit religious now? Or was it always about religion?

RELIGIOUS STAND ON THE CONFLICT
What if Israel comes to a solution by making things as same as the UN plan of 1948? Giving Palestine its portion of land and equal access to Jerusalem. Will it make the Arabs cease the fight? Why did they attack Israel in the first place?
What does the Islam says about Jews?
“Ibn ‘Umar reported Allah’s Messenger (Prophet Mohammed) as saying: You will fight against the Jews and you will kill them until even a stone would say: Come here, Muslim, there is a Jew (hiding himself behind me); kill him. But the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.”
Book 41, Number 6981
“O, believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as guardians—they are guardians of each other.1 Whoever does so will be counted as one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.”
Verse 5.51 – Quran
The primary problem is the rest of the Arab nations are holding the Palestine citizens as their shield and playing politics and having a religious orgasm.
“It’s because Egypt and Syria and the other Arab countries refuse to acquiesce to our existence. Therefore there can be no compromise. They say we must be dead. And we say we want to be alive. Between life and death, I don’t know of a compromise. And that’s why we have no choice.”
Golda Meir, Former Prime Minister of Israel
Israel is attacking a toothless tiger. This killing should be stopped immediately. Nevertheless, Palestine and Hamas should put down their weapons and should come to the table for their own good. They should leave the religious obligations to kill the Jews and make their people a peaceful life.
